"It was November 2016 when I wrote and released these songs in less than a week. At the time I was listening to a lot of psychedelic advocate Terence McKenna's lectures and feeling quite plagued about the turnout of our election. The songs came out quick and visceral and for a time I thought they would lose poignancy. In their fermentation I am realizing these social and political themes mean more now than ever. The original release campaign for this EP was grassroots and mostly local. To spread word further I'm hitting the road in spring on a series of west-coast tours and [hopefully] collaborating with wonderful platforms like your own. -V.R.
